Our race to 300 members with www.foodcandy.com has been run, and thanks to a couple of timely reviews which pushed us over the finish line in first place, it was time yesterday for dB to bite the burger of defeat. In short, it was time for him to dine at McDonald’s, per the terms of engagement.

But instead of feeling defeated, dB felt like a winner when he made a surprising discovery: The spicy chicken isn’t THAT bad. Of course, our Epicurean entrepreneur had more to say about it than that, and he’s reviewed McDonald’s for a post on FoodCandy (although I think he’s being a bit generous when he opines that the restaurant has “elements of a tapas place, as most dishes were small and yummy.”) His girlfriend was along for the adventure with a camera, and he blogged about it with typical dB flair.

Thanks dB - you’re a great sport, and now that all possibility of my having to eat at McDonald’s is behind us, I think everybody who loves food should join www.foodcandy.com.
