Video about Biznik created and posted on Biznik.com
Since BizJam back in June, we’ve been working with Seattle filmmaker and Biznik member Len Davis of livehistory.net to create a short video that provides an overview of Biznik business networking, and a bit about the BizJam indie business conference. I’m happy to announce that the video is now complete, and it’s posted on the home page of Biznik.com. It’s also posted here, in a larger format, for your viewing pleasure.
I want to say a big “thank you” to Len for all the work he put into this - and to those of you who were interviewed in the production of the clip. It’s been a pleasure working with a video producer who understands indie business!

I saw this new video the day before yesterday, and was going to email you to say how great I think it is. Then yesterday morning I woke up from a dream… about a video featuring Lara, a kid, and possibly one other person doing exercises with barbells in what looked like a basement. It was black and white and they were all wearing dark coverall-like outfits with white spots on them (like they were painters with paint spots on their clothes).
Interesting.

I had a great time working on this video for Biznik. If you have an interest in working with me to create a similar short video for your website that introduces your product or service to the world, please feel free to contact me to discuss what that would involve. I look forward to hearing from you.

You guys did a wonderful job on capturing the experience of being a member with Biznik. Many videos are more like power point slides and charts and people talking at you. You’re video showed exactly how it looks being at an event. You let the members talk and showed them talking to each other a lot, which is truly what happens. I particulary liked that you kept the comment about it being a non-competing atmosphere. I’ve been to many music industry events where the people I talk to very rarely want to share what they are doing, and I find myself the same way. However, with Biznik events, people are willing to share a little more and open up because the “how to” ideas are being expressed between two to three people talking who have entirely different goals. I guess what I’m saying is that Biznik helps encourage thinking outside the box.
