Biznik vs. LinkedIn: best comparison I’ve seen yet
Blake Newman, a web developer in Washington, DC, today posted an interesting comparison of professional networking sites LinkedIn and Biznik. Here’s the highlights:
The coolest thing about BizNik is that it encourages you to network. When I network, I try to offer something of value right off the bat. Kind of like how Starbuck’s offers little samples of their coffee cake or their new coffee drink, I like to offer a free piece of advice on online marketing or web design. For one, it helps to establish my credibility as a web design professional. Moreover, it gives the people I network with a sample of what it’s like to work with me. It is something they can take home with them and put to use.
You can read the full comparison here. And Thanks for taking the time to share your insights, Blake.

Nicely done, Blake.
The power of Biznik continues to amaze me and beyond that, its ease and member-friend environment is head and shoulders above others that I use. I really enjoy the user driven direction of not only the day-to-day content, but the way the site evolves with the desires of the Biznik community. It has become my “go to” social community site. Kudos to Dan & Lara!
