At the close of 2008, Biznik has 9 Ambassadors - members who have committed to hosting local events, who build community and connections in their region. If you’re interested in becoming an Ambassador, the process is simple: host an event, and show us that you can get at least a handful of members to attend your events. Then drop me a message on Biznik, and let’s talk. 2009 is going to be a huge growth year, and we need connectors who want to be at the center of the Web 2.0 revolution in business community building. This is an exciting time to get involved.

Lori Richardson - 19 events
Tshombe Brown - 12 events
Maura Desimone - 9 events
Christa Patchen-Wagner 8 events
Aimee Gallo - 7 events
Katie DeBill - 5 events
Jim Carney - 3 events
Allan Smith - 2 events
Steve MacDonald - 2 events

    Hello:

I am interested in the Biznik Ambassador opportunity. I have recently begun hosting networking events in S. Denver and so far am having great results. My first event was in December and had around 35 in attendance. My next event is this week at a larger venue and I am projecting around 50-80 people in attendance. (Ask me about it after this Thursday, Jan 8th).

Please send me more details about the Biznik Ambassador program.
    Thanks!
    Ann-

First of all, thanks for asking, Ann. We’re looking for social members who can commit to hosting at least one event per month, and recruiting one other member in your location to host one event per month (or, failing that, to host two events per month yourself).

For members who do this, we’ll comp you a top-level membership for each month that you meet the requirements, and your profile will appear on your city page as the Ambassador for your area, driving significant additional visibility for you. The events must be “Biznik” events, that is, use the Biznik rsvp system and meet the event requirements for Biznik events, which you can read here: http://biznik.com/about/host.

The way it works, in practice, is that you’ll need to host your two events prior to gaining the status of Ambassador to show us you’re serious about it and able to attract members to your events.

Feel free to ping me with any questions or clarifications.

    Best,
    Dan
