Groundswell author Josh Bernoff to speak at Npower Seattle’s 10th Anniversary
If you’re as interested as I am in the game-changing impact that social media is having on organizations today, you may want to check out this event on Feb. 26th. Josh Bernoff, one of the co-authors of Groundswell: Winning in a World Transformed by Social Technologies, will be speaking at the 10th anniversary celebration for Npower Seattle. Npower is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Puget Sound area nonprofits understand and use technology more effectively.
I’ve read this book, and while it’s focused largely on social media’s impact on large organizations in corporate settings, many of the insights are directly applicable to small business. I got the idea to create the Biznik IdeaExchange from this book, for example. I’m sure this talk will have a nonprofit focus, but will like be well worthwhile to anyone building a small business in Seattle.
