Biznik is now reaching 61 thousand US people every month
I’m a huge fan of Quantcast.com. The tools they provide for tracking website traffic and learning about visitoros to your site are extraordinary. Especially when you get “Quantified” by embedding a snipped of code on your site which allows them to report on who is visiting your site. Here’s our current traffic stats:
By getting “Quantified,” you’re agreeing to share actual traffic data publicly - something a lot of website owners are afraid to do. It’s tempting to try and appear bigger than you really are. At Biznik, we believe in transparency, and we always have. We’ve shared our membership and traffic data in this blog from the very beginning. Now, Quantcast has made my job of sharing a lot easier. All I have to do is embed their code into this post (easy as embedding a YouTube video), and it pulls a live stream of actual traffic data, which is updated every time someone views the page.
Here’s another fascinating set of data - the US Demographics data for people who visit Biznik.com:
This data represents how Biznik’s compares to the online Internet population as a whole. An index of 100 indicates a site’s audience is at parity with the total internet population.
I’m fascinated by the fact that Biznik’s users are 35-49, that 80 percent have no young children, and that 33 percent are making more than $100K a year.
If you’re as fascinated by data as I am, you can spend hours on the Quantcast page for Biznik at www.quantcast.com/biznik.com. Or better yet, set one up for your site and spend hours looking at YOUR data!

That $100k a year stat grabbed me, too. What I love about Biznik is the people drawn here are passionate about success - financially, yes, but also personally, relationally, etc. Basically, Biznik is a great place to hang out. : )

I was thrown off by the bar graphs until I understood that they are measuring different data than the column on the left.
The left column of data shows the breakdown of the traffic to our site.
The right column is showing our data relative to the average for all sites on the Internet. The black vertical bar in these bar graphs indicates the average across the internet. The bars represent OUR statistics in relation to the internet averages.
Fascinating data, Dan! Thanks for sharing it!
