Casting call for Seattle entrepreneurs: last chance to SHINE is tomorrow

Attention Seattle entrepreneurs: we’re offering you an extraordinary last-minute opportunity to be included in SHINE, a big film about small business, that is wrapping up shooting this week in Seattle.
Today SHINE director Ben Medina and I were shooting some scenes for SHINE in the giant airplane hangar at Magnuson Park. The incredible space at the hangar inspired us to make the following offer: If you are an entrepreneur, show up between 8am and 2pm tomorrow, and we’ll shoot some very brief footage of you. No talking will be required. You’ll simply need to look into the camera for less than a minute, and that’s it. In and out. A few minutes of your busy day will virtually guarantee a split-second appearance in the film, which will debut later this summer.
Here’s how to get there (see map below). Head to building 27 on the map, and you’ll enter from the NW corner. There’s tons of parking everywhere along the west and north end of the building. See you tomorrow, entrepreneurs!

Mosaic in Wallingford where many of our meetings happen has a fire in their building today (1st floor minor fire in closet) but they haven’t put it out yet. Might be closed on Monday.
They are a small church sponsored community service and a few times I have noticed BizNik members getting coffee or tea and then commenting how much they enjoyed getting it for free.
Remember to keep them in business Biznik member support small businesses like this and we always pay your fair share for any food or coffee you get there. Although they say donation that doesn’t mean free it simply is to let people who are less fortunate to benefit from other people who can afford to pay more. (ie pay your full price plus some).
