“Why were these people all so goddamn friendly?”

Here’s a great post about Biznik by the Communicatrix, Colleen Wainwright, a Biznik in LA.

I am the first to confess that I did not “get” Biznik when I first encountered it.

What was up with the cute name and the forum boosterism? Seemed pretty at odds with a saucy tagline (”Business networking that doesn’t suck.”) Mostly, why were these people all so goddamn friendly? Read more…

Thanks, Colleen!

    You’re welcome, Lara—thank YOU.

L.A. is slowly but surely coming along. There’s buzz about the events, and we have new Bizniks starting new events in other parts of town, which is awesome (it’s kinda spread out here, if you hadn’t noticed.)

Looking forward to coming back up to Seattle in November to see my PacNW Biznik peeps, and get another infusion of energy. Woo hoo!

    Hey Colleen,

Having recently moved from LA (I still have lots of biz friends down there), I’ve been desperately trying to get them activated as well. So please be sure we hook up when you get here. I want to help!
